The Jewish leadership thought they had rid themselves of the "Jesus problem." But Peter and John healed a crippled beggar in Jesus' name and claimed Jesus was alive.  The leadership decided to stop this Jesus movement by arresting Peter and John. Peter explained that they had to do what was right in God's sight.
